Discover Solutat

Solutat is a marketplace for tattoo supplies dedicated to tattoo professionals.

She gathers new and used equipment, studio gear, accessories, care and hygiene products, as well as products offered by selected manufacturers, builders, artisans, creators, brands, suppliers, and resellers.

The platform connects buyers and sellers, secures payment, and centralizes transaction tracking.

Solutat is intended for tattoo professionals: male and female tattoo artists, tattoo studios, and individuals in the process of pursuing a career in the field, who are admitted in accordance with the platform’s admission requirements.

The objective is to retain a customer base truly connected to the trade and a specialized environment.

No. A seller can also be a manufacturer, builder, artisan, independent creator, brand, supplier, or reseller.

The essential criterion is that the products offered are truly relevant to the profession, the studio, or the daily life of tattoo professionals.

Seller access is not automatic. Solutat reserves the right to refuse a seller or brand whose business or offerings do not sufficiently align with the marketplace’s mission.

Because the value of Solutat lies precisely in its specialization.

Machines, studio equipment, consumables, furniture, care products, or accessories meet specific uses and sometimes specific technical, health, or regulatory requirements.

The selection of sellers and products helps maintain a clear, relevant marketplace genuinely designed for the business.

Yes. Account creation and the publishing of listings or products are free.

Service fees apply only when a transaction is completed.

Shipping is currently possible between the countries activated on the platform, including:

  • France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands
  • Spain, Italy, Portugal and Czech Republic
  • United States and Canada
The list of available countries is subject to change. The destinations actually offered when placing an order depend on the regions enabled on Solutat and the seller's shipping settings.

Once your seller access is approved, set up your Stripe payment account, then publish your product with a description, a price, the necessary features, and accurate visuals.

Yes. Solutat is a specialized marketplace and maintains a curated selection.

A seller, brand, or creator may be rejected when their activity or offering does not have a sufficiently relevant connection to the needs of tattooing professionals.

Simply being a professional or having a SIRET number does not automatically grant access to sales.

No. The acceptance of a seller does not mean that its entire catalog is intended to be listed on Solutat.

Each product must remain consistent with the marketplace's positioning and present a genuine value for the business.

Solutat may refuse or remove a product that does not fit its selection criteria, even if the seller is already active on the platform.

Depending on your profile and the open categories, you can notably offer:

Machinery, power supplies, batteries, furniture, accessories, and equipment may be offered secondhand when their resale is permitted and their condition is honestly described.

Consumables intended for use on human skin remain subject to specific rules of hygiene, integrity, and compliance.

Certain expired products may be accepted only in the category provided for this purpose and in the condition «Expired (forbidden on human skin)».

They are then exclusively intended for the expressly indicated non-cutaneous uses, for example training, demonstration, decoration, education or collection depending on the nature of the product.

An expired product may under no circumstances be presented on Solutat as suitable for use on human skin.

The following are specifically prohibited:

  • Consumables or single-use products that have been used on a person
  • Sterile products that have been opened or whose integrity is no longer guaranteed
  • The opened or altered inks
  • Counterfeit or manifestly dubious products

  • Products subject to recall or withdrawal preventing their return to the market

Detailed rules are set forth in the Charter, the Terms of Service, and the Terms and Conditions of Solutat.

The product sheet must clearly present the product, its condition, its features, its price, any defects, and all information useful for the buyer's decision.

When the nature of the product requires it, the seller must also provide regulatory information, warnings, or applicable dates.

A precise presentation protects both the seller and the buyer in the event of a dispute.

When a buyer makes you an offer from a listing, you can accept it, decline it, or make a counter-offer.

New products offered by certain brands, creators, suppliers, or professional resellers may be sold at a fixed price. In this case, the «Make an offer» feature is not available.

Each offer or counter-offer is valid for 24 hours.

An accepted offer does not reserve the product. The sale is not finalized until payment has been made on Solutat.

No. Solutat does not own the products and does not have physical control over them.

Each seller remains responsible for the authenticity, description, compliance, and legality of the products they sell.

However, Solutat may refuse or remove an ad or product that violates the platform's rules.

The standard rate is a commission of 5 % of the product price when a sale is made.

Account creation and publishing remain free.

Special pricing terms may apply to certain seller profiles or partnerships when they have been expressly agreed upon with Solutat.

When an invoice is required, it is the responsibility of the vendor in question.

Solutat can provide a transaction receipt, but each professional seller remains responsible for their own invoicing, VAT, and accounting obligations.

Stripe is the payment provider used to process transactions and pay out sales proceeds.

The payout account setup must be completed before you can receive the corresponding payouts.

Payment is triggered when the buyer confirms receipt and compliance, or automatically after the scheduled period if no issue is reported.

In the event of a dispute opened before the release of funds, payment remains suspended while the case is being processed.

The standard lead time is 3 calendar days after order confirmation to drop off the package and register its tracking.

If no tracking is recorded within the applicable timeframe, the order may be cancelled and the buyer refunded.

Delivery

The seller is responsible for the packaging, preparation, and shipping of the order.

When the carrier is integrated into the Solutat system, a label can be generated directly from the platform.

The seller then uses it to drop off their package with the corresponding carrier.

Yes. For certain shipments, particularly outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, or processing fees may apply.

These amounts are not necessarily included in the displayed price on Solutat and may remain the responsibility of the buyer.

Reviews & trust

After a completed transaction, users can rate their experience based on the features available on Solutat.

These ratings contribute to profile history and trust on the marketplace.

Reviews provide future buyers and sellers with additional history before a transaction.

They also help to gradually build the reputation of the members.

A reminder can be sent after the order has been finalized.

According to the currently planned operation on Solutat, an automatic grade may be assigned when no evaluation is left within the allotted time.

A published review cannot be freely modified by its author once it has become final according to the platform's operation.

Solutat may, however, intervene when content violates platform rules or when required by a legal obligation.

Disputes & Protection

Open a dispute directly from the order page within the applicable timeframe and before the release of funds.

Depending on the situation, photos, tracking information, correspondence, or other supporting documents may be requested.

Payment to the seller is suspended while the file is being processed under the Solutat protocol.

Available items are reviewed: product description, photos, carrier tracking, communications, and other relevant supporting documents.

The buyer opens a dispute and submits the evidence to substantiate the alleged non-conformity.

When a return is accepted, its terms are communicated to the parties in accordance with the applicable protocol.

The refund can take place after return and verification of the necessary items.

The buyer must provide the requested items, including photos of the product and its packaging when relevant.

The seller may offer a partial refund in euros. The buyer remains free to accept or decline this proposal.

In case of disagreement, the funds remain suspended while the dispute processing continues.

Solutat processes files as quickly as possible.

Some files requiring a carrier investigation may take more time.

While the dispute is being processed, the funds in question remain suspended when they have not yet been released.

Account & support

Fill in the requested information and then complete your profile according to your professional situation.
