After 12 years in tattooing, I’ve seen the profession evolve, equipment multiply, and ways of outfitting oneself change. Yet, there was still missing a true space designed specifically for those who work in tattoo.
SOLUTAT was initially born out of a very concrete observation: professionals invest in equipment, test it, replace their machines, upgrade their setups, and sometimes keep equipment that is still perfectly usable.
Yet, the buying and selling of tattoo equipment often remains scattered across social networks, private groups, general classified ads, and word of mouth.
When I stopped working as a tattoo artist, I had to clear out my studios myself. Machines, furniture, and brand-new, sealed supplies still had value and could be used by other professionals. It was from this experience that the initial idea for SOLUTAT was born: to create a true specialized marketplace for used tattoo equipment.
But the profession is not limited to second-hand items. A tattoo artist also buys furniture, hygiene and care products, accessories, drawing supplies, and equipment for their studio or travels.
And behind these products also exist manufacturers, builders, artisans, creators, and independent brands who do not always have direct access to the professional tattooing world.
